I need to cut tree roots in my garden. What do I use so I don’t blunt my chainsaw?

You can cut wood with a Stihl saw using our Ripper Blade. This is a handy, bi-directional blade which is ideal for those clear up tasks. You just need to pop on a tungsten carbide Ripper Blade and let its random tungsten clusters do the job. It’s bi-directional, which increases the blade’s life by 50%, as it re-sharpens itself. It also has laser slots for noise reduction and a heavy steel centre for durability and stability.  It’s ferocious and unique tungsten carbide TCT cluster segments mean it can rip through many materials in its path, from decking to rubber tyres to tree roots. The Stihl saw with the Ripper Blade will give you a cutting depth of 100mm.
